Previous to his move into media Alfonso spent over 15 years in banking.
Alfonso has been part of the Havas Media team for over 10 years with his appointment as the Chief Corporate Development Officer of MPG, the global media network of Havas Media, in 1996. MPG was at that stage operational in Spain, Portugal and Mexico.
In 2001 he also became Chief Executive Officer of MPG for Spain and Southern Europe, as well as Chairman of Havas Sports. In 2006 he became Chief Executive Officer of Havas Media.
Havas Media and its specialist networks now operate in over 100 countries worldwide with over 4,000 employees.
Alfonso is 47 years old, lives in Barcelona and has three children.
