Ad Maatjens is more than ten years chief editor of the Dutch trade magazine SponsorTribune. Before that he worked as a journalist and published books and articles on media, marketing and entertainment.

In 2009 Ad started the research company SponsorMaps. SponsorMaps analyses de sponsorship market in the Benelux in all its aspects. He worked for companies like ABN AMRO, Univé Verzekeringen, AB-InBev, SE Consultancy, Ubachs/Full Contact en Mojo Concerts/Live Nation.
